As an academic institution currently affiliated to the university of Tunis El Manar, its mission is to teach modern languages to a wide range of learners and to conduct applied research in methodologies for teaching modern languages to adults.

The Department of Arabic and Oriental Languages offers courses in Arabic throughout the academic year in addition to the intensive summer courses. Yearly courses are offered from October to June with enrollment from July 15, to Sept. 30, according to a set calendar.
